How do grace periods work on cards with 0% intro APR periods?

If I carry a balance on a card with 0% intro APR, but pay it off in full before the intro APR period ends, do I lose my grace period for 2 statement periods after the 0% period ends?

Edit: To clarify, I was told that if I don't pay off a credit card in full every month, I would lose my grace period for the month that I don't pay in full, and the month after that. If I pay in full for 2 months in a row the grace period will return. Does that apply to the 2 months immediately following the end of a 0% introductory period?
