I know American Express reports to credit bureaus, but the minimum age to add an authorized user is 15 13. I know Chase has no minimum age for authorized users, but they don't report to the credit bureaus until the authorized user is 18.
Are there any lenders which have no minimum age for authorized users and also report credit history? I would like to establish credit history for my 10 year old daughter and begin teaching her about credit. I know she can't open her own credit card until she turns 18 anyway but I would like to teach her how to check her credit report and manage a budget. I think it would be very effective to have real-world, live examples so she can create accounts with the various credit agencies and download her own credit reports.
