Chances of getting Chase Sapphire Preferred

I've been banking with Chase the same time I opened my credit card, just moved to the US so that is why everything is new.
All the Chase credit cards are displayed for me when I go to the recommendations for me.
I'm hoping to pull it off based on my income and being with Chase.
Also, any rumours about a bonus offer to come, should I wait? Recommendations welcome.
