Hi Everyone - I hope you’re doing well. I’m going to skip posting all of the credit profile information as I only have a general question.

I just got my first AMEX gold card recently. I’m wondering what is the “ceiling” or “aspirations” that I can hope to achieve after months/years of good account behavior with them?

For example, do they give additional points to long term members or continue to raise your spending power? Or is it primarily going to be in the form of new targeted offers for other cards?

What’s the highest spending power that you’ve heard of previously?
