Adding "fee-free" authorized User to Business Gold Card

I called AmEx today to add an AU to my Business Gold card. they said I could do it for no fee, but give that person a card that is green. It's the same benefits as the Business Gold card, he said; but just looks like the green card. And is free. He said every card has a fee-free option of a card to add, and that any AUs no matter of the card type they get, have the same benefits as the main card whose account it's under.
Is that correct / has anyone heard of this?
