Is it better to apply for a couple of cards at once or apply for one every few months? What do I do?

Post Body

I want so many different cards because I'm a weirdo. Well, I also prefer travel points to cashback so my current card setup isn't ideal.

This year I've opened a Walmart store card, a VentureOne card, a Forever 21 card, and then a few weeks ago I got approved for the Venture with the largest credit line I've ever received ($7k - I'm assuming it's because my income is much higher now than earlier in the year)

I'm an AU on my husband's cards: BILT, Discover It, and Amex Blue Cash Preferred.

I'm pre-approved for a Kohl's Visa and a Sephora card; my sister would use those more than me as an AU but I would like the Kohl's Cash. I ultimately want cards I'm not getting approved for with my credit report (I have several delinquencies from when I was stupid; everything is settled but obviously that's still bad) which are: the Amtrak Mastercard for daily spend and train travel, Bloomingdale's Amex for financing, and LL Bean Mastercard for better rewards.

Do I apply for the Kohl's and Sephora cards? Or do I just need to leave my credit report the fuck alone!?!?!?
