I just got hit with a big hospital bill, and I'm looking to get a new Chase credit card with 0% APR for 18 months. I haven't opened the card yet. My question is, if I open the new card, use it to pay off the hospital bill in full, do I have to worry about the Chase Pay Over Time feature kicking in at all? I know it comes with a ~1.7% monthly "fee." Will I be able to maintain a balance from the one-time hospital bill and pay it off monthly with 0% APR without the Chase Pay Over Time thing/fee? Any help is appreciated.
