I've been a card member for 2 years in December and have always paid my balance in full and on time in all my accounts. Discover is the only credit card that refuses to raise my credit limit. Started with a secured card for $300 and my credit line is still $300. Got denied for a CLI this morning but was approved for one with capital one. My credit score through experian is 716. The cards I have are Capital One Quicksilver with a $1200 credit line, Discover It with $300, an Ashley furniture card that has no balance but a limit of $1000 and a shell gas card that also has no balance on it but a limit of $800. What am I doing wrong? I make sure my utilization is low. I pay on time. I feel like I'm being held back financially by my low credit limits. Only debt I have is my car payment and about $4k left on my student loans.
