I have a FICO8 score over 800, but I was recently denied for a PNC Cash Unlimited card.
I was hoping to get the card to replace my Citi Double Cash and PC my Citi Double Cash to a Costco card. That way I can get the 2% when I go overseas, not have the foreign transaction fee, and get a SUB, plus have a better card to use at Costco (which requires a Visa, not a MasterCard).
But I already bank with Ally. Should I try giving them a call and forgoing the $150 SUB at PNC, or do you think it's worth trying PNC again in 10 days? Are there other ways to appeal their decision?
