College student traveling for two months, should I open a travel card
Post Body

Hello! So, I am planning on taking a gap quarter at the end of the year and traveling a lot for two months straight. I have had a discover it card for 11 months and my fico score is a 759. My income for the summer will be around $11,000. I literally just started using my credit card recently and know nothing about credit cards. I just checked my eligibility for the Amex gold and it seems like it has great rewards for what I will be spending my money on. Iā€™m fine on payments, I just wanna know if it is smart for me to open a new account, if so any recommendations for what card. I eat out a lot, Uber a lot, and will be buying lots and lots of flights very soon. Important to note: because my job gave me a corporate Amex, I get a good signing deal. Thanks!
