I have a capital one platinum card and I constantly get purchases declined when online shopping / abroad asking me to confirm if I made the purchase or not. I have to say yes to the text then I can try again. I feel like it happens an absurd amount of times and I went back and it happens on average once every three weeks…. This can’t be normal right? I’m about to cancel it and ditch capital one after having it for 8 years because I know when I go to order something online there’s a good chance it’ll be declined.
