Post Body

Traveling international next month. Before booking travel I thought it would be best to get a card with travel perks. I have been looking at both of these cards: SR & VX to include the Sapphire Preferred. I am new to this community and have been reading a lot of posts. Just looking for some advice since I’m still torn on what to do.

Some more specifics: credit score: 750 FICO (average from all 3) Live in Northern VA near DC: IAD and DCA are equal commutes from me. Flying to São Paulo, Brazil (GRU) I fly often to Florida (about 6 times a year), typically ORL or JAX

I make about $150k a year and have 0 debt. I keep my cards paid off by the end of the month and use them like a debit card.

I have 5 credit cards: 1. WF autograph $24,000 limit 17 yrs 2. Sync Amazon Card $3,000 limit 2 yrs 3. Apple Card $13,000 limit 2 yrs 4. WF active cash $2500 4 mnths 5. WF generic Visa $27,000 limit 17 yrs

Other factors:

I did the online authentication for the Venture X and was pre-authorized. I am about to upgrade my phone but I already have the protection plan with WF. I am aware of the IAD C1 lounge but I saw they are also building a Chase lounge there as well. I live next to a Chase bank and they are offering 70k SUB for either SP or SR if you do it through the branch location I saw I can do a 90k SUB with the VX with a referral
