Hello, I am looking to get a credit card with better benefits. Below I've used the template. Some additional details that may be helpful:
I just got my divorce finalized, but my ex and I took each other off of our credit cards as authorized users within the last year. Him leaving also drastically cut my income this year. Unsure if credit card companies notice a downward spike like that in my income.
Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
Capital One Venture One, $5500 limit, September 2015
SoFi World Elite, $3,000 limit, November 2022
FICO Score: e.g. 789
Oldest account age: e.g. 8 years 2 months
Chase 5/24 status: 0/24
Income: $62,000
Average monthly spend and categories:
dining $50
groceries: $500
gas: $80
travel: $0
other:
mortgage auto loan: $4,000
car insurance: $120
Open to Business Cards: No
What's the purpose of your next card?
Build credit and get benefits
Do you have any cards you've been looking at?
I keep getting ads for the Capital One Quicksilver card, but that's the only vague direction I have.
Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card?
Probably general spending? But could be convinced otherwise.
