Amazon Prime Visa-do I need my own account?

Hi all,
I spend a lot at Amazon so I’ve been looking at the Prime Visa. Will it be a problem if I don’t have an account myself? I have been using my mom’s account for years and don’t see a need to get my own account. The account is in her name/email, so when I apply will it be a problem if I use her account info? Thanks for the help.
