Amazon Card Credit , 0% Payments

Hello! I have a question for anyone who has an Amazon store credit card. I am wondering if the 6 Monthly payments @ 0% count the full order amount towards the card balance when you make a purchase. Or does it add the monthly payments to the balance each month. I am wanting to make a large purchase and pay the 0% over 6 months. However I don't want the full purchase amount to be reported on the balance as soon as I place the order for credit utilization reason.! Hope my question is clear.
