About to weeks ago I inquired about a 2% cash back card (I didn’t want to open up a new bank account through someone else) and the operator on the phone approved me. I applied shortly after and was approved for a card same day. When the card came in it turns out to be an entirely different card than what I applied for. I called the company and they told me I didn’t qualify for the one I initially applied so they gave me another card without any benefits.
so what I am wanting help on is what the best course of actions to take from here. I have not activated this card and I have no desire to use it once so ever should I close the account and reapply for another card at a later date
