Here is my profile. I tend to fly Southwest domestically. Though I am now close to a small airport that has Alegent, United, and American Airlines. I fly 5 times a year from Flint, MI or Detroit to Raliegh Durham for work. I am not loyal to any hotel brand and use a Priceline Cc to book hotels. For personal needs I fly, usually once regionally and once domestically. All flights are 2 hours, usually 4 to 5 and always include a layover. I am fine with layovers. I am a tall guy so on longer flights I prefer premium coach. As for credit card spending, I try to put as much as possible on cards and pay it off at the end of the month.
Now for what I have. I paid for the Chase Saffire Reserve. I paid the higher cost because having lounge access between flights seems nice. But the availability of those seems to limited. In terms of points, i usually get an average of 4000 to 6000 points a month. I have a Priceline credit card which gives me gold status and amazing deals on hotels. I did have a Southwest card and because of the move and no particular loyalty to another airline. So with what I have and what is available. Is the Chase card the best for me to reduce travel cost overall and provide a comfortable experience.
