So my credit has taken a hit randomly in February used to be around 730 (I’m 26 and never had a credit card) my only credit was my car that I paid off a 2 years years ago.. it dropped about 50 points apparently due to no credit history even though I just got a house with a mortgage last year it took a big hit randomly
So in April I got my first credit card (Navy federal green card 1.5 cash back all purchases) to help with my credit with a limit of 5,000
So I’m wondering has this happened with anyone else? When should I get a new credit card since I just got one 4/7/23 … When should I ask for an increase?
I don’t like my credit being this low and want to get it back up fast..
Also if I can apply for another card to increase credit limit to prevent usage what is the best bang for buck card to apply for?
