tldr: careful what you show in public areas including your face. Connecting the dots between your nsfw creator self and irl self is getting easier by the day.

I saw in a similar sub about whether or not to put OF on a resume. I saw commenters talk about not putting it on the resume and making sure personal socials are separate. How you handle that is up to you.

I just wanted to point out that with the advances of AI with facial recognition, if you post your face in content in a public facing site, you can easily be found along with any connected NSFW sites.

I’m not saying that all employers will search or that many will even bother. I’m just saying it’s possible. The people that may search you may include others outside of employers, and some may even be stalkers. There’s a reason that I choose to wear a mask in all my content.

I’m not a professional by any means, but one of my hobbies is to search for people using limited information. One example is about a week ago, I had a face and a stage name. In less than an hr, I was able to find this creator’s real name and associated real life activities.

A lot of creators know there is a possibility of friends and family finding out at some point. Everyone needs to realize that once something is on the internet, it’s pretty much impossible to remove it from everywhere. Images and videos are scraped and posted on various leak websites as well. For instance, if you’re posting your face while advertising on Reddit and have your face showing on a personal social account somewhere else, you can be identified. If you’re posting SFW content on IG not showing your face but like the image that you post the same image or similar to a personal account, you can be identified. If you are also a model using your real name on modeling websites or magazines, you can be identified.

This isn’t meant to scare anyone but rather provide the realization that staying anonymous isn’t that easy.
