Since Bluesky is starting to pick up, I thought we could talk abt starter packs here!

📌 What are they? Basically they are lists of accounts that someone has compiled so that people looking for [insert niche] can easily mass follow or find those accounts.

📌How do I get on one? Simply message the creator of the starter pack and ask to be put on one. Sometimes they require you follow everyone on the starter pack to be on one.

📌My warning/reason I mainly wanted to make this post: I've seen a couple people who have gotten reallllly obsessed with creating or getting on these starter packs. Bluesky engagement is getting crazy but please remember not to overdo yourself on these Starter Packs!! I've seen some people completely overworking themselves by creating multiple multiple starter packs because that will in turn get them activity on their account. However please be weary of this route because then your account becomes a vacuum for other creators simply trying to sell. I feel like this happens on really niche subreddits too. It is absolutely amazing to support one another and help each other out but also realize some of your effort is really just that - helping OTHER creators.

(I'm not saying the below creators are doing this at all!!! I am just saying to be weary of where you are putting your effort!)
