What is the general rule of thumb for deleting posts? I would really like to try posting the same picture or gif at different times of the day to see how that would differ and also have my feed clean without repeated posts. Any advice is appreciated.
I generally leave posts up for about a month, unless they do really poorly. I generally give them 2-3 days and then delete those that get little-noticed upvotes.
Middle range successful posts I'll delete after a couple weeks.
After about a month I delete posts no matter how well they've done.
Adjust those numbers accordingly for whatever type of engagement you typically generate.

I dont think that's true. I pick 2/3 pics and post each of them 3-5 times each every day. But I try to half in the morning and half around lunch. I haven't got banned/shadow banned in quite some time.
