Hello. I’m male creator based in Canada 🇨🇦. So I was applying for mortgage pre-approval with independent broker who works with some banks (the reason is they seems to have alternative for self-employed ppl like they could do estimates the loan on your declaration or on your bank statement (the last 12 months )

So I told them upfront that I am an OF creator and they like ok. But yesterday I got email saying basically they would not able submit a file for B-lender because the invoices will show the OF company and they would reject it because they consider it “risky” job he said (even tho my statement shows a decent amount of money and I’m 1 year 8 months in doing OF and yet there is issue to apply for a mortgage.

So I think I would like to hear some Canadians who try to apply and how was it you could also DM me that’s fine too.
