I started an only fans roughly a year ago, I’ve never been banned from a subreddit, never been shadow banned, none of that. But that’s mainly because I don’t promote on Reddit nearly as much anymore. Why don’t I promote on reddit as much? I see multiple discussions or vents about how people are constantly getting banned and such, and to be honest it does discourage me from promoting on here. When I did promote on this app, I did find it to be helpful when it comes to promoting but only for a short while until I see someone talk about how they got banned. So why am I talking about this?
I think it’s time we take this matter into our own hands and start making subreddits for us. I think it’s time that we start making safe spaces where creators can promote without getting banned for little reasons. I would like to work with a few creators and start making subreddits so we can sto worrying about whether we’re going to get banned or not over a comment or a post. I was just reading about how a creator on here was banned for not having the right size breast for a subreddit! Even though they clearly fit the description! When I read that I was completely dumbfounded. I found that to be so stupid that they were banned for something so little, we shouldn’t have to worry about being banned because a moderator just feels that we should get banned. At the end of the day, we are creators that are here to make money. Most of us don’t just sit here and do this for fun, we do this because we want to, but also to make money. For some this is all they can do for income. Being banned from a page for whatever odd reason, takes away our chances of making money. Being banned is potentially putting someone in a financial bind because some moderator believes that we don’t fit the niche properly, even though we clearly do.
I’d love for some creators to reach out to me so we can start brainstorming ideas on subreddits & such. But I’d also love to hear from you guys! Please let me know what you want to see, what you don’t want to see, niches you’d like to see more of, ANYTHING!
