Hey guys - Just looking for any tips or how you do it?
I have the Samsung s24 ultra phone been filming in 4k 60 fps a lot lately but its becoming a pain - all my files are huge a 16 sec clip I just made was taking ages to upload etc on Instagram
Just done x3 videos for 6 seconds at my desk - kept still and just changed the settings...
UHD 4K 60 = 123MB
UHD 4K 30 = 83mb
FHD 1080x1920 60fps - 50MB
Is the quality worth the loss in time for the socials? should I just do my main videos 4K and other content lower? knowing that most socials will compress etc
Even my photos I use the 200M setting- I tried to post to some groups earlier and each photo was over 20mb so wouldn't allow me to!! should I swap it to the 100M? pictures go from like 21mb to 9mb, think I need to I cant be taking lots of photos and then having to edit them all to suit size issues
200MP is way overkill. A 25mp picture can be printed at 20x30 inches. 1920 x1080 is "I think" under 2mp. Only shoot bigger if you are going to print large or crop in post
