Just a heads up for those creators who use a PH platform as a place to advertise theirs pages. Recently they created a tier program that affects the income from ad advertising. But it wasn’t clear with tiers. But yesterday I noticed slightly changes now if you go down into tier program you could actually see where you stand at (which tier), how many videos you had uploaded already and what rank or how many videos do you need to upload to move to the next tier, which awesome for me.
The only thing that missing is the % for each tier like say bronze is 2%, silver is 5% , gold is 10% and diamond is 15% to see the potential income from a ad advertising. What do you think about it ? Do you think now it’s better than before or the opposite?
It's garbage. PH requiring you to post 7 min videos on there to qualify for advertising is basically them tricking us to upload content there for FREE which overall diminishes both the value of our content and the overall earnings overtime.
The tiered system for ad earnings is an added layer of 'fuck you' on top of it basically expecting you to compete with others for the scraps of their ad revenue. Screw that.
I've personally stopped bothering about PH after this update and am now only going to post sub 1 min teasers on there if at all. We should all just boycott PH and refuse to supply them with the loads of free amateur content that their site has thrived on all along.
