Hi guys,
For those of you who saw the post from someone claiming to be in the top 0.01%- several creators noticed discrepancies in this user’s claims.
I removed the post and reached out to them to ask them to prove their claims privately via modmail for the post to be restored. The user refused and even deleted the post and their comment history in response.
I am making this post so that those who may have read that post and taken some of the advice to heart, it’s very likely this person was lying. Either entirely or just exaggerating their current stats.
Some advice I saw in this post I want creators to take with a massive pinch of salt:
- You can currently be top 0.01% (that means making approx $200k a month) with Reddit as your main source.
- That a good way to gain subscribers (for a creator of that level) is by chatting to people in social media dms.
I didn’t get chance to read through the entire thread as they made many many comments but if anyone else has some points to add please do so in the comments below.
I also found it super weird when she said she's making $200k per month mostly selling pre made videos but 1) not spending a lot of time chatting and 2) getting just a bit of help from chatters. For $200k per month you must be sending tons of mass messages and having chatters selling 24/7. She was also saying she relies on building closer relationships with some fans which I think is almost impossible if you are using chatters as most of those people from south-east Asia, have bad English and have no idea how to have normal conversatons due to language and cultural differences.
Thanks for doing that. She may very well be the real deal, but too many people hide behind a veil and that always makes things seem fishy.

Her advice was good but if what she showed as earnings was true then she definitely has a huge team working with her. You can definitely sell a lot of videos in messages but need to be in your dms all the time which is impossible since you need to also be making content for OF and most importantly for your promotional profiles. It's also not very profitable to build connections and then sell videos for $10-15, what works best is selling bundles. Chat with someone for like 3-4 times, few minutes each time, then try to sell a bundle of say 10 of your videos for $40-50. Also do mass messages either to all fans or to those who have expressed some willingness to spend. You can create lists of fans and send only to those.
