In my personal experience with using an agency (I tried 3 different ones) … I can honestly say IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

They all have a few things in common: 1. They want 40-60% of earnings 2. They spam all your fans and expired fans to the point these fans will block/mute you and most are smart enough to know it’s not you which defeats the purpose of OF 3. They will act like they’re your boss and try to make you feel stupid when you disagree with them 4. They will burn out your fans very quickly by overcharging them, rather than looking at the importance of long-term rebills 5. They will never represent you the way you want to be 6. You will still have to do all the work of driving traffic (which actually is the heaviest load and most important aspect) while all they care about is milking your fans through DMs

As a single mother it’s not easy juggling OF responsibilities but I know creators who have 10k paying fans and are still doing everything on their own. It’s possible if you manage your time properly.

Just don’t ever think getting an agency will take you to the next level.. it may seem so at first when they’re using manipulation tactics to drain your fans wallets but then you gotta work twice as hard to get all new fans again and again.

Not just that but one big reason I personally do OF is the freedom and being my own boss… these agencies will treat you like they own you, like you’re their employee…no thank you.

So in essence, I don’t look at them as a scam but more like a really shitty business partner.

If you’re someone who needs help then hire someone hourly to help with posting on social platforms.. much safer, affordable, more ethical … and you remain in charge of things.
