I own a new Snapchat show based in California. I’m looking to hire scriptwriters who also have experience in creating viral scripts for the show’s episodes.

Weekly tasks will include:

-Create 5 engaging, snappy, and condensed 600-900 word scripts each week that keep viewers hooked from start to finish for episodes of our animal-themed Snapchat show, covering various topics such as animal-related celebrity news, top 10 lists, eerie animal sightings, animal history, and more trendy topics.

Who I need for the role:

Someone motivated and willing to take the show to the moon with us;

-Developed viewer retention skills;

-Previous experience as a scriptwriter for other channels or shows is mandatory.

-Proficiency in creating attention-grabbing hooks, peak interests, foreshadows, and more.

-Thorough understanding of psychology, human behavior, and retention-inducing factors. The scripts have to have some sort of strategy that makes someone stay watching.

-Understanding of what a viral script looks like and how to create them.

-Ability to meet deadlines.

-Relevant portfolio showcasing your skills.

-Ability to follow Snapchat's video creation rules.

-Speedy communication response times.

-Willingness to sign a contract granting rights to use the scripts on the show and commit to producing a set number of scripts each week.

About the show:

I am a content creator with a passion for creating content. The show I run, Cute Animals, has been running for 45 days, with episodes averaging 35k views each. Currently, I've created all the episodes, and since I lack scripting and editing skills, I have not created any content except for compilation videos of funny animal clips with no editing in them. If compilations can do that well, we can do amazing with an actual video, especially with experienced editors and scriptwriters aboard.

Currently, I've just hired a few experienced editors with millions of views under their belt. I have yet to have them start creating videos because I need a scriptwriter to complete the team. I plan to expand the show beyond compilations to cover diverse topics like animal stories, news, extinct species, top 10 lists, and more. Meet the Real-Life Tarzan, and Creatures From Your Nightmares Found at the Bottom of the Ocean.

I'm looking to create content that resonates with viewers aged 16-25. With access to over 1 billion monthly viewers on Snapchat, this is your chance to showcase your skills in front of a global audience.

Pay:

The pay will be commission-based pay of a 20% share of the revenue generated from the episodes that use your scripts. The show's RPM is estimated at $16 generated every 1,000 views. What revenue is generated, Snapchat takes 70% of it. So there is a 30% pot. We would give 20% of that pot to a scriptwriter. Which would be $0.96 for every 1,000 views generated.
