I am hoping that someone can help me with an explanation of what happens here.
In Creality Print 5.1, occasionally I load an .stl file that gives me an error message that says 'Model ***.stl has integrity error', and then a 'Repair' link. If I click on the link, it starts a routine that begins with the main window grayed out and a typical green progress bar at the top. The progress bar goes half way across the top, and stops.
I have let this process go for 48 hours a few times, and nothing ever occurs. Since the window is greyed out and no options are available (in Windows), I just close the window.
I have successfully printed the .stl file by ignoring the error and the subsequent layer error, without issue.
Can anyone explain any facet of what is supposed to happen when I send a 'stl file for 'Repair'? Does it go to a cloud print server for processing? Or?
Are the servers perhaps overwhelmed?
