G'day from down under, I just installed a bimetal heatbrake on my CR10 hotend so my PTFE tube is no longer in contact with the nozzle, as I am printing with ABS and ASA and having issues with layer adhesion at the default max temp of 240C. Now that I can safely go beyond that without releasing PTFE fumes, I can't seem to increase the nozzle temp any higher in the slicer or on the printer itself. How would one go about increasing this firmware limit?
** do not reply with other troubleshooting problems, I have tried the bed temp all the way to 110c and have a solid enclosure around the printer built, filament pre heating/drying, bed adhesive and more. I am sure it is my temperature that is an issue as I am not suffering warping, 1st layer prints just fine but layer adhesion on the final products are not up to snuff. My ABS states print temp of 230-260c so I am looking to go beyond 240c as 240c is working just barely to print models. (Also higher hot end temp may enable me to print slightly faster as I can't seem to exceed 20mm p/s without major issues in print quality)
