I was just thinking that I would love to have my own workshop, but a lot of the bigger machines like a drill press or table saw take up a lot of space and cost a lot of money.
You could just put a lot of capital upfront into getting the tools then charge people a monthly membership charge to come in and use the equipment, as well as offer classes and such. You could also sell supplies there too if you'd like, or have like "free scrap weekends" where people can come in a try to make little knick knacks out of scrap wood.
