So when I am playing against someone who has a bad habit I can usually recognize it. However, unless that bad habit is a ledge option, I have a hard time punishing it. I don't remember the habits that I recognized earlier until I've been punished. For example, I am playing pika and my opponent is playing Gannon.

1. He hits my shield with a jab and
2. I try to bair/fair him OOS.
3. He jabs again and

4. I get hit.

5. I recognized this habit during the game and I planed to spotdoge after the first jab.

6. Then, I would punish with bair/fair/grab.

However, when I try to execute this plan I automatically bair/fair OOS before I even thought about it.
