no ads and their effect on tournaments

with the addition of tournament ad rewards/boost became a lot more important and yet I (and im sure many others) face the problem of not having any ads sometimes for days or even weeks. i think that a mechanism that would give you the reward while having network connection but no ads should be implemented ASAP.
what are your thoughts about the subject?
