Another problem with my neural network! :I

So I have nearly finished my neural network code, I am 100% sure the network itself is working. My only problem now is I get an error.
On the 100th or so creature(i.e when the next generation starts) I get a crash: "violation reading location 0x00000000" on the following line in main.cpp:
double output = vec[creature].net.getOutput()[0];
I have no idea why because this works on the first generation?
