Hear Me Out- Animal Crossing bit Cthulu
Post Body

Preface: I can't code to save my life, if you want to make this I would love to corroborate on some other basis.

Basically you play a Priest of The Old Ones and you are assigned a domain. Your job is to attract and care for great old ones until it's their time to awaken and consume the world. Your Domain starts small but as you attract Old Ones it would grow.

  • Farming would be based on Fears but act like crops Ex: A cat head shaped fruit called Ailirophobia
  • Bug caching would be different forms of Madness Ex: A bug that movies around sporadically called Schizophrenia
  • Fishing: You would be fishing out of the abyss, I am not sure for what, but I'd like it to be cerebral just like the other two.

-Instead of Random Villagers showing up like in AC, you would have steps you can take to attract Old Ones (You always start with the same one, probably Cthulu) Ex: If you plant some Yellow asigns around d town you'll attract Hastur

-Visitors, keep daily visitors, probably call them Visitors from the Other worlds Ex: -Eric Zahn, whom sells music - Obed Marsh will buy your "fish"

Most tof this stuff is all Public Domain, is universally beloved. And cult.of the lamb showed us pretty clearly that a horror based cozy game can perform well.

Note: Any thoughts or ideas posted here are done so with the knowledge they may be used if this game is ever made. No Compensation besides credit and a significant contributor would probably get a free copy . That includes me if someone decides to take the idea and run with it (I would love to work with you though)
