Good morning fellow Coxers (not sure if this is the right way to say it) :)
I have a bit of a quick ask I have been trying to solve. I have some old devices (Sonos mainly) that need to connect to my Wifi, however they do not support the WPA3 of the New Panoramic Router. I was trying to change the option from WPA3 to WPA2 and thus logged on my modem via the web browser to change that parameter. To my surprise, it's all greyed out. I can't do anything. Very frustrating. Is there anyway to edit those?
The other solution I tried was to connect with a wire, my Motorola AC3200 on one of the ethernet port of my Panoramic and define a fix IP address on the Moto (deactivate the DHCP on the AC3200). It worked and I could connect my Sonos to my Motorola router! However, I had trouble with the Panoramic wifi (not being able to connect, or internet would stop working then work again). I was wondering that perhaps they are using the same band so I deactivated the 5ghz one and only kept the 2.4 ghz running on the Motorola.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better way to connect my equipement that is far from the Router via Wifi?
