Southern NV. 2 year promo deal ends next month. Currently $59 going to $89. No other services. Like everyone else I was bumped from 250 to 500 Mbps earlier this year (I think). I believe I read on here that I could significantly lower my bill if I drop down to the 250 plan however when I bring this plan up it indicates that the 250 Mbps plan is only $6 less then the 500Mbps plan:

Your current price PLUS ($59) which is going up to $89 would be $24.00/mo. (added to the temporarily current $59) and would be $83.99/mo.

That's a pathetic savings. Is this the price for the 250MBs plan now? TIA.

Cox is basically a monopoly out here if you want good Internet. That's why the pricing is so ridiculous. You can try this to lower your price again.
