Hey all, see post history for my previous struggles with Moderna. Had absolutely no symptoms save a sore arm for dose one. Dose two kicked my ass for three days, had a fever up to 103, and took almost a week for my fever to go back to normal.
Iām on day 15, and I still donāt feel my full self. I still have brain fog, everything still feels hazy but itās a little bit clearer, and Iām better at ignoring it. At one point the fog was so bad it was triggering panic attacks. I also quit thc unintentionally after the second dose because I was so sick, and havenāt felt much of an urge to get high because my brain already feels out of it. I also find that hydrating and resting makes me feel a bit more clear.
Anyone else have the brain fog issue last a really long while? I donāt feel sick, I just donāt feel āmyselfā. Maybe if I had time to just sleep in and eat for more than a weekend I would be okay, but alas, Iāve been working a really physical job at like 40 hours a week since I got the vaccine...
Half of me is wondering if itās just withdrawal, or if it really was just the vaccine. Iāve never had a problem with derealization, and I donāt think thatās the problem...Everything feels real and Iām grounded, itās just...washed out. Not clear. Then again, I havenāt been sober for this long in over a year so what do I know. I just want to feel normal again so badly :/ Itās scary not having control of your own mind, and not knowing what caused the problem.
Additionally, I have a chronic UTI problem, as well as a piercing that is healing, so Iām wondering if those two problems in combination with the vaccine gave me such an aggressive response? Let me know what you guys think and your experience.
I just tell myself that if I had gotten covid, the brain fog definitely wouldāve affected me 10x worse and maybe not have gone away. It does really suck though when you have to work 40 hours a week, people need to more clearly understand that it CAN mess you up for a while, even if itās just so they can prepare to take off work if needed. Itās been rough ngl
Yeah thatās what Iāve heard for some other people as well. My partners dad had brain fog for seven days and then suddenly woke up feeling completely clear. I canāt wait till it happens to me lol
Yes I have a chronic UTI problem triggered by sex. Basically my vagina is allergic to penis lol
Iāve been taking some of that and I already notice a bit of a difference. I just gotta keep on it. Thanks so much for the tip!!!

Yeah. Kinda tired of people acting like itās innocent and great when a lot of people are suffering. I mean of course itās better than covid, but people should know the facts: there is a chance you will feel like REAL shit, and you should prepare for that. All you can do is make the best decision for you, or maybe communicate with your employers that you had a severe reaction to the last vaccine and you might have to start later. Sorry youāre going through this :(
