This is not why people dislike him. They dislike him for the racist slur, getting wasted and messy in public on a regular basis, canceling concerts at the last minute, throwing chairs off of two story buildings that could hit people, etc.

You know, one of the main things humans use to decide whether they like someone or not - the things they say and the things they do.

I can fully and honestly say the reason that I don't like him is because of what he's said and done. I have nothing against people "on top" - I have lots against people with alcoholic tendencies that refuse to get help and keep endangering others around them. So yeah I guess I have "fodder" for not liking him - because he keeps giving it. I'd love for you to point out non-disliked country artists that have "done or said far worse".

Personally I was meaning current popular artists, not ones who haven't hit the charts in decades. The older an artist is, the more people that see them through rose-colored glasses - personally I couldn't care less about any of the ones you mentioned. But I can't think of any other current artists that act the way Morgan Wallen does. Also, I don't get where your insistence that I/others hate him with massive vitriol. Lots of people just do not like him, and yes it is often due to the way he presents himself. I'm not interested in an artist who gets constantly wasted and endangers other people in the process. And I can guarantee you it's not a "you hate him because he's popular" thing. I love plenty of popular artists - that don't act like him.
