How to repair small scratches on countertop from knife?

I have found three small scratches on my stone countertop. I don't know what this material is made of or what the best method is to repair it. The scratches are not deep, but I can feel them with my fingers and the surface is no longer smooth.
The scratches appear white when dry and blend in while wet.
