Hello there.

The title pretty much says it all. I've tried dating apps and never hear back from anyone who's actually serious about anything. I'm just sick of never having someone to talk to when I feel down. I have my family but that's not the same. I've never had a truly deep connection with someone, never been with anyone and just want that in my life. And when I say that I do mean never. In anything. And no, I won't ask you to be my teacher when it comes to a relationship. I want a partner, not a mentor in how to navigate a relationship. I'm also not looking to rush into anything right off the bat.

I want to build something with someone that's more than just physical, which I feel people care too much about rather than an actual connection.

Now a bit about me -

• I'm 5'6" and a half. Sorry I ain't a bit taller
• I'm white, with dirty blonde hair though it looks more brown now than blonde, and blue eyes
• I keep myself active physically, trying to get back down to 170 lbs after gaining too much weight in 2023
• I am right leaning politically
• I am Christian, though I don't attend church. Had a falling out with the pastor at my last one and just ain't gone back yet
• I love to read. Mostly fantasy and Sci-fi, but I do enjoy a good love story every now and then.
• And I also write as well, it's one of my main hobbies apart from working out
• I am an avid cook, I love to make pasta and cook breakfast on the regular
• I am getting my drivers license next month. The reason for me not getting it till now is I am blind in my left eye and was always anxious over that fact. But now I'm finally getting around to it
• I speak my mind and tell things how I see it
