My ex broke up with me 6 months ago. He stopped replying to me and deleted his snap chat 2 days after. We were together for a year. I was in love and losing him crushed me. Fast forward to the present and it took a long time but I'm 95% over him.
Last Monday I lost my balance and fell and broke my elbow and sprained my lumbar spine. Texting with one finger is a challenge so I took a picture with my cast, wrote a caption and sent it to like 1000 people on my snap chat. There are a few guys on their with my exes name and similar avatars. When I got a message from one I opened it without thinking. It read, "Omg, what happened?" I replied with reading the chat history. He replied, "Oh that's horrible, I'm sorry to hear that." Then I read the history and I realized it was him. I was so shocked I wrote, "OMG...is it you?" Stupid, I know.
And I waited, and waited but got no reply. A half hour later I wrote, "Talk to me. I didn't even know you were on my snap. You deleted it. There are a few N****n's on here. No, I'm not dating a bunch of guys. I've only left my house 7 times since March because of CoVid. I mod two subreddits now, r/cougarsandcubs and r/cougars_den. They have close to 90,000 subscribers."
And I waited.
The next day I texted this,"Talk to me. I'll be nice. I won't bite. Obviously you want to. You refriended me on snap chat on September 11th."
And I waited. Actually I'm still waiting.
I'm back in that horrible place of him rejecting me again. Like back to square one.
I don't understand why he refriended on snap on September 11th, or why he even messaged me about my arm if he didn't want to talk. Why didn't he reply? He's not malicious but to me this seems cruel. Does anyone have any insight?
