27m here, 10 months after breaking up with my ex 25f (3 year relationship)

• i see her mom in the grocery store last week. she seen me first and was walking to me. we talk. i havent talked to her since last year, our breakup was bad. it was also on my birthday. she apologized for her daughter again. she also knew her daughter was cheating for some months before we broke up, which was news to me.. she tells me about how when she was younger, the girls were like her daughter (cheaters), but not her. towards the end of what felt like a long apology, she says something along the lines of "i wish i was 20 years younger" before giving me a look that left me wondering if she wanted me to come home with her!! lol.

this is where things took a wild turn (for me)

i realized i was super into this... like more than usually, into this. i mean ive always been attracted to older women, but this encounter just may have solidified it for me. i really think i need a woman thats mature.. mom vibes. smart. more emotionally intelligent. thats what was attractive to me.. the vibe/ nature of the convo. its much different than talking to women my age and i was taken aback at how much i wanted to keep talking to her

i feel like most of the women my age are either going through their stage, or they have someone from their stage they still talk to. ive been trying to get back out there, i had a tinder. everyone around my age just wants to link up & do the deed. which is cool and all, but it definitely hits harder when it means something.. idk. guidance??
