I've (29m) dated a few cougars (39f) & (44f).
However, I ended the first one as I went abroad for work. The second one (44f) ended after a diagnosis a few months ago of throat cancer, and being high risk (leukemia as a child in remission), I made the difficult decision on ending it and returning home as she has a career where I would be in an elevated risk (public health care).
However, upon returning back home, I seem to click with a woman for a few days before I say straight out about the health challenges and seem to be getting ghosted immediately. I'm just trying to wrap my head around why this may be, as most days I still enjoy a somewhat active lifestyle and do the things I enjoy. I'm still somewhat sound, as my employer is paying for the medications after insurance and making roughly 1/2 of what I did when I was working?
Is it because of the unknown (hospitalization, death, other)? Or because of the living arrangement decision?
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
