I saw a post about these earlier today and just saw them in person, so I had to pick them up.
What they are: They're about twice the width of a tim bit. As pictured for comparison. They're softer and filled with small amount of filling. Pictured as well. Light colored ones are filled with chocolate, pink ones are filled with strawberry jelly and the darker ones are filled with apple jam. Jam, jelly, sauce are interchangeable here. I could be wrong.
They're closer to an Italian bombolini, for example sold at Fortinos. They're soft and yes, if you compare them to a bombolini or a filled donut, they are worth it as a treat. Better than timmy holes.
Brew some fresh coffee to go with these.
Has anyone tried the mini Nutella filled donuts? They were so good and I've been really 3 years for them to come back 🥲. It's at a point where I think I made it up in my head, any Costco employee I've asked has no idea what I'm talking about.
