Hey all - the Southwest gift cards are a great deal, but unfortunately we got caught up in the mass cancellations and had to drive home. Since we paid for most of our flight with gift cards from Costco (which we purchased specifically for this flight), Southwest is refusing to issue us a refund, or even restore the gift cards.

Southwest says the best they can do is individual flight credits for each family member, which sucks because I don’t know when my kids will need to fly again. I’m going to try again after this mess dies down and I don’t have to wait five hours to talk to a person, but I thought I’d see if anyone else was in the same boat or had gotten a better solution from Southwest.
