At our warehouse we hire twice a year usually April and October. And we are told, this is the way it's done. I understand hiring seasonal employees. It makes sense. But we are too short staffed now. Is this a corporate policy or is this a local Warehouse decision? It would make sense to hire four or six people now. Easier to keep an eye on the new hires and get them trained right. My second question is about the manager bonus structure and metrics. Many at our warehouse don't understand why there isn't much transparency regarding the manager bonuses. To me, that seems like a fair concern. I am unable to find anything about this in the handbook. Is there information that a manager could share? And lastly, I'm not a disgruntled employee. I love my job at Costco. Great pay and great benefits. And for the most part, great people.
