Hi!! I’m thinking of traveling to CR within the next couple of months because it looks beautiful and I need a vacation.

My hesitations are:

1) I would be going by myself as a female tourist. Although I would likely stay at a resort, I am definitely a bit nervous as I kept up with the Carla Stefaniak case (the American tourist who was killed by her Airbnb’s security guard). How are the resorts? Anything to worry about?

2) every weather website I visit has it raining literally 24/7 on the west coast (which I have read is the driest). I was planning on getting some beach/sun time in and general r&r - how long does it actually rain for in June or July and if it does rain, what activities can you do aside from holing up indoors?
