Heading to CR in May, doing a 5-day tour through Desafío with activities including rain forest hikes, zip lining, white water rafting, hot springs, and canyoneering. Where does one leave their stuff when participating in these adventure activities? If bringing a backpack, should I buy a waterproof shell for it? Raincoat needed for the rain forest? Any tips on waterproofing things like cellphones, wallets?

Spending a couple nights in San Jose, and we're celebrating her (24) birthday at the Ram Luna restaurant. However, we want to go to some bars/clubs and meet people our age (18-25). Any advice/suggestions on nightlife in San Jose?
