Jaco - full of hookers and there is absolutely not a single girl that is not a hooker. Has a nice beach( not the best ) kind of okay for surfing and has a very interesting crocodile and bird watching excursion.

Tamarindo - probably the best party life on the weekend. Has a beautiful beach and pretty good spots to drink and eat. They also have a beer pong tournament place and it is heated lol.

La fortuna - best nature I ever saw in my life and very couply so bring your partner

San jose - just your average city life there ain’t much to do.

Overall get a 4x4 car or you will get stuck on the hills

Avoid the road “Alameda 5” in Tamarindo it is FUCKED

be ready to pay as things ain’t cheap

They have Uber and UberEats in here

If you pay in dollar they always round up for you and give you the rest in costarican money

In the capital there’s everything. Even Walmart

Get your alcohol from the grocery store and pre before you go out as drinks are expensive

Be careful of where you use your card as some places will scam you
